The following Tuition Guideline form needs to be filled out and submitted online. For new families this should be done after you have been accepted and for returning families this should be done at enrollment for each new school year.

Please note that tuition is based on school cut offs listed on our Tuition Schedule, not necessarily on classroom placed. Please initial your understanding of how we establish tuition rates. Tuitions are subject to change at anytime. Tuition goes up every year in May.*

Payment Plan - Returning families billing will remain the same. You MUST email arevell@braxlynschool.com to request any changes to billing.*
I (we) will pay the tuition to The Braxlyn School by making payments under the following plan, that has been checked above. All families at The Braxlyn School must have an automated account deduction form on file for tuition to be automated IF tuition is not paid by Friday of each week for weekly payment families and by the FIRST Friday of the month of monthly payment families. This automated form will be used if payment is not received by the due date.
Tuition Guidelines
1. Tuition rates are located in a PDF under the Programs menu on this website. Please initial in box below that you understand and agree to the tuition rates.*
2. Tuition is due by Monday by 6:00pm for all weekly tuition families, late by Tuesday with a $25 late fee assessed. For all monthly tuition families, tuition is due the first Monday of the month for the number of Mondays in the month, late by the first Friday of each month, with a $25 late fee assessed. Please intial in box below if you understand*
3. All families must have a signed Tuition Express from on file for automated deduction from a CHECKING account of your choice. You may schedule tuition on a weekly or monthly basis to be automated. Starting June 1st, 2018, there will be a 3% charge for credit cards and a 1% ACH charge. Please initial in the box below that you understand the Tuition Express process and fees associated with that process.*
4. Returned tuition payments will be assessed a $25 return fee per return transaction. If tuition is not paid and at a zero balance within a week of a returned payment, termination of the student will be invoked and your place in the school will be forfeited. Please initial here that you understand returned payment procedures.*
5. The Braxlyn School reserves the right to use a collection agency for all unpaid tuition payments due. Please initial below that you understand.*
6. A 30 day notice is required to withdraw from The Braxlyn School in writing to a Director-no tuition refunds will be given once tuition has been paid, and no credits will be awarded. Please initial below that you understand.*
7. Vacation Credits will be available starting September 2, 2024. You must be a student for one year to be eligible for one week of credit, consecutive days are required. All requests must be submitted before any billing has been created. There will not be an available option to back date any requests once tuition has been billed and paid. Activity fees and registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please initial below that you understand.*
Policy Agreement
1. Late Pick up fees will be $3 a minute per child after 6:00pm, that is automated each week by our Procare Software. Please initial below that you understand late pick up fees.*
2. Late drop off fees- if there becomes a habit of late drop offs, The Braxlyn School reserves the right to charge a $3 a minute fee per child if you drop off after the schedule start to the school day. a)Discovery, Explorer, Early Preschool, Preschool, and JK begin their day promptly at 9am; b) For all classrooms the doors open at 7:30am and close at 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Please initial below that you understand drop off times and class begin times.*
If you are going to be late for school due to a Dr's appointment, dental appointment, or any other reason, please be courteous and send a message via ProCare Connect this will notify administrators as well as teachers of your arrival. School deserves the right to decline an entry if it is too late of an arrival.
3. The school calendar is located on our school website, www.thevanguardacademy.com. Here you will find all days that school is closed and special events for the school year. School days that we are CLOSED for 2024-25 school year are: July 4th & 5th 2024, Sept 2nd 2024, November 28 and 29, December 24 - January 1, April 18 2025, May 2 2025, May 23 2025, May 26 2025. Please initial that you are aware of closed school days for the 2024-25 school year.*
4. No partial tuition or credit is given due to Holidays or Teacher In Service Days, snow days, unforeseen shutdowns, including quarantines of any type. Please initial below that you understand this policy.*
5. School Parking-please arrive to school SLOWLY and abide by the four way stop sign at the corner of Dayflower Street and Civic Way, we have small children all around and want everyone to be safe. Please do not use the alley to exit, this is a private street. Initial below that you understand.*
6. Divorced or Separated Parents: The Braxlyn School request and reviews the copies of divorce decrees, child support agreements, custody, or any other agreement between parents pertaining to the support and funding of a child's education. Please initial here that you understand by signing this contract, all parties accept full responsibility for ensuring payment of the entire tuition amount.*
7. For security purposes ALL PARENTS will be registered by QR code or specified codes to give access to school. Primary custodial parent will have QR code authorization to enter in school; this is for the protection of all students. If anyone else is to pick up, that person must come to the office and speak to an administrator with their valid license and we will confirm that they are authorized and sign them out ourselves. Please initial that you understand.*
8. Immunization records need to be current to continue admittance to school and must be handed into prior to starting school and prior to any immunizations expiring. Failure to do so could result in not being able to attend school. Please initial that you understand.*
9. We are a peanut free school, please be courteous to those who have allergies by not bringing in items that contain peanuts. Please initial that you understand.*
10. When birthdays arise over the school year, please note that we can not accept cupcakes or any other foods due to allergies. Please initial here that you understand.*
11. If school closes due to inclement weather or any other unforeseeable circumstance, there will be no pro-rated tuition or refunds for school. The Braxlyn School reserves the right to close entirely, close early or delay due to weather as well. Initial below that you understand closings/delays.*
12. Sickness Policy - Children must be symptom free for 24 hours or have a Dr’s. note to return when sent home for illness. Please notify school of illness that occurs on weekends or off school days to help us keep everyone healthy. Initial below that you understand.*
13. The school camera system is for internal use only to monitor classrooms and cannot be viewed by others due to privacy and identity of young children. initial below that you understand.*
14. Pick up and drop off Policy - . Initial below that you understand.*

Parents are allowed to drop off and pick up at the students classroom. No individuals are allowed to enter the classrooms per school policy. Students will wash hands and return to you outside the classroom via teacher.
15. The school reserves the right to dismiss any family for any behaviors by students or any other person that is deemed threatening, aggressive or emotionally damaging. These behaviors will not be tolerated. - . Initial below that you understand.*
Consents
*I give permission for my child to go on walking field trips, parades, etc. I release The Vanguard Academy LLC, The Braxlyn School, and individuals associated with TVA from liability in case of accident during activities related to TVA. Please initial here.*
I give permission for The Braxlyn School and/or The Vanguard Academy LLC to photograph or video tape my child and use the resulting photographs/video tape for a lawful purpose including the use of marketing or publicity. I relinquish all rights, titles, and interest in the photographs, negatives and video tapes. *Please note that these pictures or videos are also used within the classrooms and sent out to classrooms/parents as students perform activities. Please select from the following for your preference of photographing/video taping of your child(ren) for the purposes of the website, yearbook, social media and ProCare. You must also email a Director if you choose not to have them videoed or photographed.*
Due to risings costs and significant allergies we reserve the right to increase tuition or forego the meal program with notice given. Please initial here that you understand.*
We reserve the right to engage with an outside therapist group to screen our students at the beginning of each school year. Notice will be given to parents as we create the opportunity. Please initial here that you understand.*
By signing this agreement, you have read and understand ALL of the policies of The Braxlyn School and/or The Vanguard Academy including the Academic Calendar, the days we are closed, above parent consents, and all of our special events for the year.
